The History Behind “The Osprey”

The original food service operation at the marina in Robinhood started out as a snack bar of sorts in 1974 called The Osprey Nest. This name was carried through multiple owners, many of which Sarah worked for as a server and bartender, starting in the late 90’s. The Four Cuckoo Birds have chosen to bring the name The Osprey back to Derecktor Robinhood Marina in Riggs Cove. Our menu will include local, Georgetown seafood, fresh farmed and foraged ingredients and classic coastal pub fare. An exciting addition to the restaurant is a wood-fired oven, which will allow for a great deal of fantastic pizzas this season along with other fun items Chef Dylan has up his sleeve.
